Timemaster Era: Beginning of a new universe! Page 3

Aiden shifted his focus back within the classroom environment, due to his curiosity of the new transfer student. He kept wondering what a child prodigy could be doing in such a boring secondary school in Allentown, Pennsylvania, United States? It sure was a shocker, that a 12-year-old would already know or how to process 12th grade high school Advanced Calculus class.

A short boy about 5 ft 3 inches entered the room. He had pale white skin and, was wearing zero glasses (not meant for prescription), but mainly for looks and appearance. He was of Welsh or British descent, scrawny and was formally dressed in a manner to look more professional despite his young age, with messy light brown bangs. He walked to the front of the classroom and stood next to Mr. Smith, facing the class. Aiden and the class looked with deep curiosity as Mr. Smith was beginning his speech about this child prodigy.

“This is Spencer Madoc, or his last name could be known as Maddox,” Mr. Smith spoke. “He will be attending mainly this class along with other advanced subjects. He is here mainly to try to take our IBM program, which is higher than the academic mathematic tier that you fellows are in. So yeah, guys and gals, try to give a warm welcome to our new fellow student, Maddox.” The entire class clapped and applauded. Maddox took a seat and the teacher continued his lesson on Advanced Calculus.

A couple of classes later, Maddox headed in the hallway towards the guidance counselor’s office to discuss possible tutoring that he could enroll in. Maddox with his built-up posture at such a young age, walked through the school hallways, carrying Advanced Mathematics & Transformation Series textbook of his own. The book contained mathematical knowledge beyond the scope of the Advanced Calculus class that he just had that morning, including Laplace, Fourier transforms alongside with matrices and other mathematical deviants or theorems. As Maddox was walking to approach his locker, suddenly…

  BASH!

Maddox was forcefully pushed towards a locker which impacted his back. He was pushed by a taller and bulkier high schooler who was in the 12th grade. The big guy who bashed Maddox onto a locker was Brian Vanrod. One of the school’s biggest bullies or jocks ever to be seen in Allentown itself.

“So, you are the new smart geek,” Brian Vanrod spoke immaturely. “Child prodigy, eh?”

Maddox spoke with his Welsh with a hint of British accent formally and astutely towards him, “You really are stupid and sound like an immature imbecile who thinks he reigns the school. Every time someone hears words coming out of your mouth, you sound cretinous within our learning environment which impacts our brain cells, you dullard.”

The crowd of students surrounding Maddox and Vanrod suddenly roared towards Vanrod for Maddox giving him a neat intelligent burn towards him. The class started to laugh at Vanrod for trying to bully a child prodigy. Maddox tries to walk away from the situation and proceed to the main office of the school. But before he could, suddenly a huge fist from Vanrod was coming towards Maddox’s face. Maddox ducked as Vanrod hurt his fist severely on a school locker and growled in anguish.

Vanrod felt a shoulder tap from behind him, as he turned around, he realized that it was Aiden Alves. Aiden spoke, “Hey Vanrod, you are forgetting something from me.”

“What?” Vanrod angrily spoke as his hand was still in pain and became red.

Aiden punched Vanrod’s face which made him fall to the floor of the school hallway and the crowd of students witnessed it. So did Maddox. He thanked Aiden for being there for him, he walked towards the main school office while Aiden told everyone to bug off and stop gazing at him. “What are you looking at, you bystanders?” Aiden spoke discourteously and headed off towards the cafeteria. Aiden was severely ireful that the world today was always full of bystanders, whenever a scene of crime, or person was about to get hurt happened. Suddenly everyone just stands there and does not do their job to defend Maddox, instead they just watch in pleasure as sheep, Aiden thought.

  Chapter 3

  Birthday Party

  Date: September 9th, 2020

After the third day of secondary school, Aiden, Allison, Veronica, Trixie and a few more of their classmates and friends headed towards Luis’s place for his birthday BBQ dinner. They entered the backyard patio of Luis’s house where there was space enough for 20 to 30 people to dine. The backyard was enormously big, since Aiden also used it for archery from time to time. There were a couple of patios that had lots of drinks and one with tons of food ready to be served with an exceptionally long garden dining table.

Lots of food was served in platter upon platter, including steak, salmon, lentil rice, Greek salad, mashed potatoes, fruits, bread, and plenty of desserts which included ice cream, homemade cupcakes and of course the huge mega birthday cake that had about 50 2x2 square slices all equally cut. Trixie attempted to grab a piece of cake, Veronica grabbed her wrist and shook her head, saying “Not yet Trix.” Luis went to his surround speakers and put on some Trance music, Goa Mix by Paul Oakenfold.

Many classmates and friends were stunned to hear this type of music. Except for a few, they weren’t really aware that trance music really existed. They all gathered around at the dinner table including the Trinity Guys. As they sat and ate, they had conversations on how life was going, school, friendship, their futures, etc. Miss Lockwood approached the teens and said aloud across the huge garden dining table:

“Let’s sing Happy Birthday to Luis Lockwood, for his 16th birthday,” Miss Lockwood conversed elegantly.

“Oh, come on Mom,” Luis groaned with a troubled tone. “We don’t have to do this! Everyone around here knows I am turning 16 years old today!”

Everyone on the table ignored the statement and began singing the Happy Birthday song to Luis who was feeling a little uncomfortable as Miss Lockwood also sang along with them. After the singing was over, Miss Lockwood motivated her son to blow the candles on the huge cake. Luis did so and the entire group started to feast. Trixie took a couple of slices of the cake and began to chug down the sodas, starting to get very hyperactive due to her having high sugar intake. Trixie began to do cartwheels and ran hyperactively around the huge backyard of Luis’s house. Veronica sighed at her younger sister taking too much sugar.

Luis and Allison began to play around with his personal set of bow and arrows. He demonstrated slowly to Allison on how to shoot an arrow at the target, as he shifted Allison’s arms in specific positions to help steady her arms and hands onto the bow and arrow, before taking the shot. As she released the bow, the nylon like string pushed an axial force towards the end of the arrowhead allowing the arrow to shoot rapidly towards the target. The arrowhead ended up far away from the bullseye, she sighed.

“Don’t worry, it takes time to get used to,” Luis stated positively. Allison smiled at Luis’s positivity knowing that indeed archery did require skill and training over time. Veronica started to get obsessed with the desserts mainly, which included ice cream, which she adored a lot. The Trinity Guys continued eating and chatting along with Aiden, Sandra, and Veronica. The Goa Mix by Paul Oakenfold was continuing through the surround sound speakers in the backyard. The mix was a couple of hours long. The music was elegant, electronic, with synthwave sound to it, that made Trance as the new defined electronic genre of music that is of today.

Trixie was drinking more and more, Pepsi, Gingerale all at the same time and taking sweet candies including freeze pops. She was beginning to get very hyperactive and Luis noticed it. “Somebody must be in a mood for manhunt or tag,” Luis said aloud. All the friends and classmates looked at Luis, they liked the idea of manhunt or tag. They all decided to form up for a game of manhunt.

“Mom, can we go for a game of manhunt?” Luis asked.

“Yes, but be careful kids,” Miss Lockwood said. “Be back in 30 minutes or 40 max. No questions.”

After about 10 minutes of organizing the classmates and friends among the trails of Allentown, Pennsylvania, the game manhunt began. Luis was the one who wanted to find the others and tag them, while the rest hid in their spots within the trails/woods after setting boundaries minutes ago. Trixie, Veronica, Aiden, Luis, Sandra, the Trinity Guys along with some others hid in their designated spots in the woods that were nearby. The group waited in their designated hiding spots for Luis to look for them one by one and start getting chased.

Sam, one of the Trinity Guys, was caught by Luis from a distance. Sam sprinted towards the trails of the woods, almost tripping among the shrubs. Luis ran around the corner of the woods by the creek, which gave him the advantage, as he climbed up the rock pile by the creek which led him in front of Sam. He tagged Sam before he could react in time, as they both traveled together to look for the rest of their folks. Sam grunted as he walked with Luis, since he was annoyed that he was the first one to be caught and did not expect him to walk by the creek and cross his path, by taking a shortcut.

Trixie was twitching a lot, due to her hyperactivity, as she tried her best to calm herself down after taking that much sugar at the party. Trixie saw Luis and Sam along with a couple of others that they caught. She saw Veronica running for her life from them. She giggled as she hid behind a tree by the ravine. Suddenly, from the corner of Trixie’s eye, she saw Tom, one of the Trinity Guys, running towards her. She reacted suddenly as she saw Luis, Sam, and Veronica all about to encircle her, making a run for it, hyperactively fast. She sprinted with surge of energy as if she would never get tired ever, it was hard for Trixie to even get to bed on time most of the days, on a regular day to day lifestyle.

“Gotta catch you this time Trix,” Luis said excitedly as he and the others ran after her through the trails and woods within Allentown, adjacent to their neighborhood. Trixie ran as fast as she could through the woods, trying to outrun Luis and a few more friends/classmates
that were chasing her. She realized that everyone in the manhunt game was running after her. She was the last one standing. She continued running but suddenly…

  THUMP!

She tripped over a branch or a set of twigs on the ground and fell down a rock cavern that was embedded within the ground. As she fell down the cavern, her head hit a branch. The cavern was filled up with rocks mainly, with branches sprouting up like tulips trying to rise during spring season. The cavern was located beneath the easement of the soil settlement, expanding downwards towards a waterfall stream, which is why the others could not find where Trixie ended up. She fell down in an unconscious manner and laid there simply in the shadowy rock cavern without any of her friends or classmates, who were not even aware of what happened to her.

  Chapter 4

  Dasher

  Date: September 9th, 2020

Standing in a vast space of nothingness, with cosmos, stars, astral, and many other elements of space surrounding the universe. Trixie was in a dream trance and looking at her surroundings, she could not tell if it was real life or just a dream. She stood there in the empty void of space, wondering why she was there. She walked around in the empty void of space looking around her at the astronomy of the universe itself. Out of nowhere, a huge mirage of a cosmic nebula-based entity appeared in front of her, overcoming the horizon view of the universe itself. Trixie was beginning to get scared and looked around, to see if there was a way out. She was shaking in fear and had no idea of what was going on.

The cosmic entity with his own nebula space of astral stars was clouding his disguise of appearing as a primordial being of the universe. It was Mr. Universe himself. He approached Trixie and spoke out loud in his calm soothing voice that echoed through the cosmology of the universe; “Do not be scared child. I am not here to hurt you.”

Trixie tried to calm herself and hesitatingly replied with chattering teeth. “How do I know that I can trust you? Who are you?”

The cosmic primordial being answered “You have been chosen to be the start of something good. The good that you can bring to the world truly. You have been chosen and, you will go through my trials, once passed, you will become a Stellar-Being.”

Trixie abruptly felt poignant and sobbed. Mr. Universe replied in his soothing cosmic voice saying, “What is wrong child?”

She sadly replied, “Am I really dead? Will I become extinct or die like those Superior-Beings? Please I don’t want to go down that path.” The 14-year-old teen sobbed more tears of distress. She was sad and emotional. She was so scared deep down on having her fate ending up like the Superior-Beings years ago, the way they went and how the governments reacted towards them. Trixie stuttered her words while crying; “Promise me, that my fate won’t end up like theirs did if I were to become a Stellar-Being, if that’s what’s gotta get me back to my normal life, rather than wherever I am?”

Mr. Universe spoke in a well-organized tone slowly; “You are not dead child. I promise you Tracy Valerie Hartburn, you will not end up like the Superior-Beings. You are pure of heart, no darkness in you, nothing at all. You will still be you, you sweet child. Now shall I proceed with the trials, and yes it will get you back to your life?”

Tracy asks herself what the trials are about, what happens if she does or does not pass them at all. What are the consequences? What are the outcomes? She stood there staring at the beautiful cosmos of the universe, seeing how elegantly it was laid out. She could see the milky way and other galaxies alongside it. She could also witness space nebulas, alongside supermassive black holes with infinite number of stars as the universe was endless. Tracy’s tears suddenly disappeared, she stopped crying and looked at the primordial cosmic entity curiously.

“What are the outcomes of these trials?” Tracy asked.

Mr. Universe simply responded; “You will gain powers, abilities and techniques. You are chosen due to your good deeds, innocence, honesty, and faithfulness to others. So, you are chosen to use these powers, abilities, and techniques for the good of the world, to help save lives, eliminate evil on this world if necessary. You Tracy Valerie Hartburn have the decision whether you want to do these trials. After our meeting, you will wake up back where you were last and forget any of this taking place entirely. But I do promise you, you will not be extinct or end up like a Superior-Being.”

Tracy stopped being sad and started to cheer up, since the primordial cosmic entity did promise Tracy that she will end up pure of heart and will not go down a dark path ever. She nodded and asked, “Why do this all now suddenly?”

Mr. Universe responded, “It’s time for the world to shine with bright hearted and innocent honest individuals like you out there. Here are the 3 trial questions that you must pass and with your full honesty, answer them well.”

“Who or what is your deepest desire?” Mr. Universe spoke in a formal manner with his calm tone.

“My cat Bibi,” Tracy smiled and spoke.

“Dig deeper child. I know deep down you meant more than that.” Mr. Universe responded.

“Fine, my friends and family, especially the people who have cared for me all my life. Even my sister Veronica. I still have issues with my eldest sister in terms of family conflict though. That honest enough for you?”

“Yes. Next question is ‘What if you can wish for anything in the world, what would it be?’

“I don’t know honestly, Mister. Come to think of it, mainly candy, soda drinks, but deep down, I do not know. Sorry I don’t know.”

“That is okay child. Next question is ‘If I grant you with these powers, what would they be used for? Do you have the intention to ever hurt someone with these powers unless in self-defence?’,” Mr. Universe continued.

“I will never ever hurt someone Mister. I promise that my powers will be self-contained within me and be used only when necessary, I promise Mister,” Trixie nervously answered.

“I understand child. You have passed the trials. You may return to where you were last time. Home.”

Trixie nervously looked around the cosmos of the universe. It suddenly went blank black and all the astral, stars, galaxies, nebulas were all gone, marking her as the first Stellar-Being in existence.

  ♦♦♦

With no memory of the space trance dream or whatever it was, Trixie woke up in the rock cavern cave that was embedded into the ground. She woke up with the sunlight shining above from the skylight of the cave on her cocoa brown eyes. She attempted to climb out of the cavern but fell back down. She looked up and attempted again, thrusting her feet with a sudden burst of strong windful force pushing against her face and dark hair. The razor sharpness of the wind penetrated her face as if pellets of strong currents were hitting her as her body thrust out of the cavern.

She flew with a jump out of the cavern and landed on the surface in the woods. Her friends/classmates were calling out her name loudly. As Trixie looked at her close friends, something extraordinary was happening on her head. A few heavy strands of her hair got in the way of her eye. She could see coloration beginning to happen. Her hair was transforming strand by strand, she could see a couple of her strands were transforming into full white hair. At first, she thought it was due to the glare of the sunlight making it look brown rather than black. She pulled out her cellphone and put on the front camera view, watching the transformation. She saw all her former natural jet-black hair turn completely white, but a few set of strands one by one started to appear with unique pastel colours. A few strands resulted in colours of pastel yellow, brown, green and a couple lighter colours like pastel purple and pink.

Trixie screamed at this revelation as she saw on her mobile phone preview. She muttered to herself, “What is happening to me?” She was having a panic attack and ran. Her friends and classmates heard her scream, as they were rushing to her supposed call for aid.

“Trixie,” Aiden yelled across the woods. “Where are you going? Are you okay?”

“I’m fine,” she said. “I am not feeling well, I need to go home.” She was indeed telling the truth, even though it was intended to be a lie. She was not feeling well mentally and physically due to the alterations going on. The white hair spooked her down to the bone, she was worried sick that she could be transforming into some sort of potential witch.
